Pinos is located in Zacatecas, the second largest gold producing district in the country after Sonora. Candelaria Mining has defined an initial economic resource and received final approval for all permits necessary to begin construction of a 400 tpd mining operation. Within Candelaria’s 100% owned Caballo Blanco Licence area is the La Paila Project which hosts an initial NI 43-101 Indicated Resource of 521,000 ounces of gold and 2,170,000 ounces of silver (31,220,000 tonnes grading 0.52 g/t gold and 2.16 g/t silver) and Inferred Resource of 95,000 ounces of gold and 590,000 ounces of silver (8,630,000 tonnes grading 0.34 g/t gold and 2.14 g/t silver). The La Paila mineralization is open in three directions with potential to significantly increase the resources. The Caballo Blanco district as a whole has potential to host multi-million ounce Au resources.
